Sunny Monday

Monday was sunny and beautiful; I sat in the little park nearby my place and swung on the (admittedly too-low) swings. All the parks here, I've noticed, have clocks - ancient-looking, but solar-powered. Such an ingenious idea: the kids learn to tell time and can't make the excuse to their parents that they lost track of the time at the park. Also good for moms who need to keep track of time whilst minding the kiddies.

Remember bucket swings? Those things are ace. These ones are a little more low-tech than the metal-and-vinyl seats I grew up with, but nonetheless serve the same purpose.
