Ketchup, egg, rice, bits of meat, and some basil. Mmmmm.
Omuraisu. I SWEAR I will find out how to make this heavenly meal so that I can make it for all of youse back in Ontayreeoh when I get back. Soooo delicious. I had this after having my health check on Monday. Sadly I had not the presence of mind to take a picture of it as it was served to me in its full glory because I was ravenous and its siren song was too strong for me to delay by getting out my cell camera. So you get the mangled, half-eaten corpse of it ;) Mmmm, I wish I had some right now.

This time, it's personal.

It's in the same building as the clinic I went to a while back. A Japanese health check includes an X-ray, a heart monitor, height and weight measurement, hearing and vision checks, taking blood and urine samples, and then going to the doctor so he can listen to your heart, tap your kidneys, and shunt you out the front door. I have a gargle for my sore throat and it is working wonders.

Also, yesterday someone flipped the switch from late summer to end-of-fall temperatures. In one day, I went from being comfortable and warm in a t-shirt and pants, to shivering with freezing fingers on my walk home from work in my suit jacket and everything. Regardless, I feel better now that it's colder.
