Ch-ch-changes

I'm going to be posting a picture every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with a little anecdote, starting today. Hopefully, this will motivate me to update this thing semi-regularly, as well as giving a bit more insight into my daily life as it's lived in Japan! So, without further ado...

My desk!

This is my desk at work, taken with the camera on my phone. The box in the corner originally held Cuban cigars, and I have no idea where it came from, as I sort of inherited it as the place where I stash all my crap. In front of it is a pile of textbooks that were for my lessons tonight. The textbook pile on the right is actually my own study materials for learning Japanese. I use those markers more than you might imagine at a school with no students under the age of sixteen.
